You must fill out the form below completely in order to host a pop-up at King Tai.

We host rotating pop-ups on SUNDAYS, MONDAYS & TUESDAYS.

We provide a full kitchen including the following:

  • Moffat Turbofan Double Deck Full Size Electric Convection Oven

  • 3 induction burners

  • 24” plancha

  • single empty shelf in our refrigerator

  • mixing bowls, cutting boards

We do NOT provide knives, plateware or flatware, fryer.

We do not process any pop-up food payments, you are solely responsible for this. As our kitchen you will be working in is located one floor above the bar space where the food gets served to customers, you must come prepared with one of the following methods of processing orders & payments:

  • a QR code-based, self-serve ordering platform such as Square where orders can be sent remotely by customers from their seats to your phone or tablet, and the printed cards containing QR code & pop-up info (we have metal stands you can use to hold these & put them on our tables). We cannot print any of this material for you.

  • an assistant who can receive orders/payments downstairs & run them up to you. Using this option means there might not necessarily be printed material at each tabl twhich describes your pop-up, so you are required to bring signage displaying your pop-up name, menu, pricing & how to order.

We charge a flat fee of $75 to all chefs, and we require chefs to leave the space exactly as they found it, & to follow all our rules (emailed to you ahead of time).

Please narrow the focus of your pop-up to include only 1-5 items. You are not permitted to offer beverages of any sort on your menu.

We regret that we cannot host pop-ups that do not already have quality photos of their food. After you submit the form below, please email the best photos you have of your food and, if possible, of you as a chef to kingtaibar@gmail.com with your name (as it appears below) & the phrase “pop-up” in the subject line.
